We offer 2/3 night minimum stay depending on the season. Please send us an email or give us a call should you wish to book two nights. Check in from 1600 (4pm) and Check out by 1000 (10am). Can be flexible with prior agreement.

A non refundable deposit of 25% will be taken should you book 8 weeks in advance. Should you book less than this, the full amount will be taken.

If full payment is not received by the due date The Grimsay Cabin reserves the right to cancel the booking and release those dates for re-booking. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance as we will only be able to offer a refund if we are able to rebook. Please read our full T&Cs

Please note Ferry Services to and from the Island during peak periods can book up quickly it is therefore advisable to book your ferry journey as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

All accommodation is non-smoking and pets are allowed on the premises at an additional cost per stay. You will be prompted on the booking page to inform us.

As the name suggests, the wood-fired hot tubs are similar to an open fire and need lots of special attention. Part of the enjoyment is creating the fire that heats your hot tub!

When you first use your hot tub it takes a starter fire kit to light it (which includes kindling wood, firelighters and a flaming log) and then once a good fire has been established, a further bag of ordinary logs. After about 3 hours, this should get the temperature up to around 38 degrees. We recommend lighting your hot tub soon after arrival.

All of the above is included in your first night stay and all additional wood can be purchased on site. £15 for each additional wood kit.

Should you wish for us to light this for you before you arrive - please let us know in advance!

We offer extra hampers which you can see at the time of booking or these can be requested at least two weeks in advance of your stay. Just drop us an email.

We can also help you celebrate a special occasion. Whether it be a birthday cake for a special person, a balloon set up for an anniversary, a romantic bell tent picnic set up for a proposal. Just let us know and we'll happily help you out!
